4G (LTE) is the fourth-generation mobile technology. It is important to note that there are different development stages in the LTE area which are constantly improving. For example, since 2011 – when LTE was introduced – there was the possibility of download rates of up to 50 Mbps and upload rates of up to 10 Mbps. A short time later, the next development stage, called CAT4, was released, which allowed a data transmission rate of up to 150 Mbps in the download and up to 50 MBit/s in the upstream. In the meantime it is possible with the modern CAT6, also called LTE-Advanced, download rates up to 375 Mbps and upload rates up to 50 Mbps at the top. It is important to remember that different speeds are reached depending on the location and the provider and the network configuration. Therefore, our routers offer the possibility to access various networks from different network providers through 2 SIM slots. The router automatically selects the mobile network, which promises a better connection at the given time. This reduces the number of failures to a minimum and always ensures a high speed connection. This creates a stable and fast connection even in poorly cross-linked areas.
The speed of the 4G router is particularly advantageous in areas requiring high data exchange rates, e.g. video surveillance or video transmission. Our 4G routers always have 2 antennas, which allows an optimal sending and receiving power. In the case of poor network extension, a solution is thus created which always provides the possible maximum.

GWR-462
Our GWR-462 (4G LTE) router is ideally suited for a connection to an existing company network due to its WAN and LAN interface.
This series offers the unique advantage that it provides information such as existing or active SIM card, GSM provider, SMS, roaming, signal strenght, GSM technology, active interfaces, operating time, IP adresses and firmware version via the specially integrated LCD display. The series is ideally suited for applications where a high level of safety is essential due to 2 SIM slots and a good signal strength. The router ensures the router by the possibility to attach 3 antennas. One for the Wi-Fi network and 2 for the best possible signal strength in the GSM network, which can amplify a possible weak radio signal. In addition, this industrial router is WLAN-capable and therefore does not have to be cumbersomely wired up, which makes mobile applications possible.
